ARTIST | Nadine Raduner
Nadine Raduner was born in 1979 and lives and works in Lucerne.
Her love of art developed at a young age, coming from an art family and eventually becoming a gallery owner herself. Motivated by numerous exhibitions and inspired by the constant flow of artists, she discovered her passion for the design of figures. She has been creating her sculptures and project works since 2010.
Her work has been shown at exhibitions in Zug, Lucerne, Winterthur, Meggen and Oberägeri. From 2018-2019, she made a lasting impression on the "Kunst am Bau" project, the new construction of the primary school building in Kastanienbaum (Horw municipality, Lucerne)
"The creation of emotion and expression, depicted in persons, alone or as a group in co-existence or side by side, challenges me anew.
I like to leave room for interpretation to the observer and am often newly inspired by the respective resonance.
The versatility of man fascinates me. It happens again and again that I rework my sculptures, perhaps precisely because of this vast amount of possible communication. Working with expression in posture, gesture and touch always has different meanings. To recognize these correctly in real life is often an art in itself.
In my figures there is no right or wrong, the viewer decides".
